Rangjung Yeshe Institute is organising a symposium, ‘Embodied Wisdom: Himalayan Art Across Space & Time’. There will also be an exhibit of Buddhist art practices and roundtable discussions. Garage Entertainment Nepal presents ‘GE Fest’, a musical concert featuring live performances from Albatross, Sushant Ra Raga, Wangden Sherpa & The Cowboys, Prajina & The Indigo, Swoopna & The Asters, The Elements and Suraj Tamang. The 4th gathering for Kalashala’s ‘PAUSE: No screen Hour’, is happening with the theme of yarn art. Throughout the event, no mobile phones or screens will be allowed. Shilpee Theatre is staging ‘Sickle Cell’, a play directed by Sumit Bhandari that explores various aspects of our society. ‘Nepalgunj Food and Beverage Street Festival’ showcases a variety of local and international cuisines, beverages, and entertainment in a festive outdoor setting. Makadox Events is organising a musical celebration featuring Nepali bands like Purna Rai & Daju Bhaiharu and Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh.
